Due to California’s Cottage Food Laws, Sweets is currently licensed to sell only within the state. The hope is to one day be able to move into a commercial kitchen which will allow me to ship anywhere in the country.

Being a one-woman show, everything is made to order, so it can take up to four days to make your chocolate. Sweets ships Monday through Wednesday because although cold packs are added, I want to avoid having any chocolate sit in a warehouse over the weekend. Placing an order Monday through Friday means your chocolate will go out on the following set of shipping dates. Please email me if you need an estimated ship-out date!

As foods cannot be returned, sales are final. If you are not satisfied with your order, please contact Sweets at hi@sweetschocolatier.com so we can find a solution!

Large chocolate companies, the ones next to the register at a grocery store, continue to heavily rely on the use of child labor, supporting human trafficking. These unethical practices mean they get chocolate cheap, sell bars for $1, and still make a hefty profit.

The farmers that make all of our chocolate possible deserve to make a living, deserve to be able to choose to do the work willingly, and deserve healthy work conditions.

We have the power to speak with our money. Purchasing ethically sourced chocolate - coming from farms with humane conditions that take care of their farmers - makes a difference.

Support businesses that responsibly source their chocolate. Visit the Food Empowerment Project which works to get corporations to be transparent about where they source their cacao and fights for the rights of farm workers.
